ABOUT ROB CERAVOLO:
Rob Ceravolo (call sign ROCKO) built his leadership in the Navy cockpit, where every decision mattered and lives depended on it. As a fighter pilot (2001–2011 active duty, 2011-2015 reserves), he flew the F-14 Tomcat, F/A-18 Super Hornet, and F-5N, deployed in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, graduated TOPGUN in 2009, and held roles from Training Officer to Coalition Liaison. Those high-stakes years taught him that elite performance comes from rigorous standards, Navy-modeled training, ego-free debriefs, and calm decisions under pressure.
Inspired by his father—an Italian immigrant and private pilot who passed away early—Rob channeled loss into drive, graduating first in his Navy flight class. In 2009, he sold nearly everything to launch Tropic Ocean Airways from a Key West garage with one seaplane and two employees. Over 16 years as Founder and CEO, he grew it into the world's largest amphibious airline: over 200,000 flights and a flawless safety record, while connecting communities across Florida, the Bahamas, Caribbean, and beyond through hurricanes, recessions, and a global pandemic. He led disaster responses saving lives and delivering aid, all rooted in values like Safety Always, Find a Way, One Team One Goal, and Enjoy the Journey.
In late 2025, Rob transitioned to Board Member and Strategic Advisor at Tropic, allowing him to focus on what truly moves him: guiding leaders to thrive with intention, balance, and heart.
He now works with leaders and orgs at all levels who seek proven systems blended with human-centered wisdom.
